Controller
HOK Living, S.L., at C/Pilar 32, 07500 Manacor, Mallorca, Spain, is the controller for the processing described on this page. You can contact us at info@wearehok.com with privacy questions or to exercise your rights.
Contact form
When you voluntarily send the contact form, we process the information you enter—such as your first name, email address, telephone number, location, project type and description—to respond to your enquiry, assess your project and take the requested steps before a possible contract.
The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request. Fields marked as required are necessary for us to handle the enquiry. Our hosting, database and email providers may process the data as processors acting for us. We do not sell your data.
We retain an enquiry while needed to handle it and provide appropriate follow-up. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise its personal data unless we must retain particular information for longer to meet a legal obligation or deal with potential legal claims.
Source information stored in this tab
After you accept the advertisement category, we use browser session storage (sessionStorage) under the key hok_attr to remember how you reached the site during the current tab. We do not store this information before that consent. It is not a cookie and is not shared between tabs.
It may contain only the hostname of the external referring website, the path shown when this information is first stored—with no query string or fragment—and, when present, utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. These campaign values come from the link you followed and may be identifiers chosen by its sender. Each value is limited to 200 characters. The first source recorded after consent is not overwritten as you navigate the site, and the browser normally removes this storage when you close the tab or end the session.
HOK reads this information only if you choose to submit the contact form. It is then stored with the enquiry so we can understand its source and remains separately available in HOK's internal system. It is not used to build a profile, identify you across websites or show advertising, and it is not sent to CookieYes, Google or Meta.
Cookies, consent and measurement
We use CookieYes as our consent-management platform. CookieYes stores your choice in the necessary cookie cookieyes-consent for up to one year so it can remember which categories you accepted or rejected. This cookie is not used for advertising.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta Pixel load only after you accept the advertisement category in CookieYes. Rejecting it or making no choice keeps them unloaded.
With consent, we measure page views, the contact form's public accepted response as contact_form_success/Lead, the Calendly form actually opening as calendly_started/CalendlyOpen, and a confirmed Calendly booking as calendly_scheduled in GA4 and as Schedule and Lead in Meta. Confirmation comes from Calendly's completed-booking message or its redirect to our booking-confirmed page. An accepted response does not reveal whether anti-bot filtering stored the enquiry. After advertisement consent, the first page-view URL may be sent to Google Analytics only with the gclid, gbraid, wbraid, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content campaign parameters still present in the URL at that time; no other URL parameters or fragment are ever sent. Later page views are sent without query parameters. We do not send these providers names, email addresses, telephone numbers, form content or the hok_attr record.
GA4 may use the _ga and _ga_<identifier> cookies for up to two years to distinguish consented visits. Meta Pixel may use _fbp for up to three months for advertising measurement. Effective periods may be shortened by provider configuration, your browser or consent withdrawal.
Google and Meta act as separate providers for this measurement and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their policies describe their transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where applicable.
Calendly
The site loads technical resources from Calendly, an external appointment scheduling service. If you open the booking flow, you interact with Calendly and information you provide there is processed under Calendly's own privacy and cookie policy. HOK does not send the source information in hok_attr to Calendly. With advertisement consent, we measure when the booking flow opens and record a completed booking when Calendly sends its event_scheduled message or redirects to the booking-confirmed page. Before CookieYes or any tag loads, that page removes names, email addresses, answers and every other non-allowlisted parameter from the URL. If Calendly provides an opaque booking identifier, we store only its hash to prevent duplicates; otherwise deduplication lasts for the browser session.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, object where applicable, and request data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email info@wearehok.com and tell us which right you wish to exercise. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
